Rob McNaught discovered an 18th magnitude comet on 8 May 2013 during the
Siding Spring Survey with the 0.5m Uppsala Schmidt. Although the discovery MPEC
gave a periodic orbit of about nine years (based on an arc of 1.7 days) subsequent
circulars gave a parabolic orbit whilst retaining the P/ designation.
