3992 Wagner

3992 Wagner is a main-belt asteroid discovered by F. Borngen at Tautenburg in 1987. A total of 962 data points were obtained over 14 nights during the period 2013 October 1 – November 3 as the solar phase angle increased from +5.9° to +16.3°. The average magnitude was 16.0 and average SNR was 37. The lightcurve shows a period of 20.628 ± 0.004 h and amplitude of 0.29 ± 0.03 mag, suggesting that the asteroid rotated 38 times during the period of observation. These findings were published in the Minor Planet Bulletin, Volume 41, Number 3, 2014July - September.
