COBS lightcurve
Alain Maury and Georges Attard discovered an object, of 19th magnitude, in images
taken with the 0.28 m Schmidt of the MAP Observatory, San Pedro de Atacama,
Chile (W94) on 2 December 2021. At discovery it did not show any cometary
characteristics, hence received an A/ designation. The MPC issued an MPEC, noting
that Christavao Jacques had reported an elongated coma on 30 December 2021.
