Type: Periodic Perihelion date: 27 May 2023 Perihelion distance (q): 3.2 Aphelion distance (Q) : 4,423,915 Period (years): 27.2 Eccentricity (e): 1.00 Inclination (i): 140.1 JPL orbit diagram COBS lightcurve Alain Maury and Georges Attard discovered an object, of 19th magnitude, in images taken with the 0.28 m Schmidt of the MAP Observatory, San Pedro de Atacama, Chile (W94) on 2 December 2021. At discovery it did not show any cometary characteristics, hence received an A/ designation. The MPC issued an MPEC, noting that Christavao Jacques had reported an elongated coma on 30 December 2021.
