DEPARTED

Type: Periodic Perihelion date: 28 September 2014 Perihelion distance (q): 0.6 Aphelion distance (Q) : 977 Period (years): 10,808 Eccentricity (e): 1.00 Inclination (i): 154.9 JPL orbit diagram COBS lightcurve An 18th magnitude comet was discovered on 12 November 2013 by Michel Ory using the 0.5-m reflector at the Oukaimeden Observatory, Marrakech. The comet reached perihelion at 0.6 au in September 2014 when it was best seen from the Southern Hemisphere. It appears to have peaked at around magnitude 6.5 near perihelion then faded quite quickly.
