Type: Hyperbolic Perihelion date: 31 December 2011 Perihelion distance (q): 5.5 Aphelion distance (Q) : n/a Period (years): n/a Eccentricity (e): 1.00 Inclination (i): 79.3 JPL orbit diagram COBS lightcurve Rob McNaught discovered an 18th magnitude comet on images taken during the Siding Spring Survey with the 0.5-m Uppsala Schmidt on 19 March 2009. Brian Marsden notes on MPEC 2009-L12 [2009 June 3] that the "original" and "future" barycentric values of 1/a are -0.000078 and -0.000016 (+/- 0.000101) AU^-1, respectively. The small "original" value shows that this comet is on its first visit to the inner solar system.
