Type: Periodic Perihelion date: 30 January 2018 Perihelion distance (q): 2.3 Aphelion distance (Q) : 5.3 Period (years): 7.3 Eccentricity (e): 0.40 Inclination (i): 13.2 JPL orbit diagram COBS lightcurve The comet was discovered at 19th magnitude by Steve Larson on Catalina Sky Survey images taken with the 0.68-m Schmidt telescope on 10 January 2011. Confirming images were taken with the Mt. Lemmon 1.5-m reflector and also following posting on the NEOCP. Images of the comet have been found in Spacewatch images from 1995 and 2004 and NEAT images from 2002.
