Type: Periodic Perihelion date: 13 February 2024 Perihelion distance (q): 2.4 Aphelion distance (Q) : 4.9 Period (years): 7.0 Eccentricity (e): 0.35 Inclination (i): 11.5 JPL orbit diagram COBS lightcurve 2002 LZ11 was discovered by LINEAR as an 18th magnitude asteroid on 5 June 2002. It was subsequently found to show a coma on images obtained on by the Catalina Sky Survey in October 2003. Ernesto Guido, Giovanni Sostero, Paul Cammileri and E Propsperi recovered the comet at 19th magnitude on 17 April 2009 using a remote telescope in the USA (a 0.25-m reflector near Mayhill, New Mexico).
