Messier 75 (North Up, East Left)
Messier 75, also known as NGC 6864, is a globular cluster in the constellation of Sagittarius. It lies at a distance of ~80,000 light-years and has a diameter of ~150 light-years. This image comprises 12 x Luminance (60 seconds each) and 6 x Red, Green and Blue (60, 60 and 48 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 35 degrees over two nights, on 9 June and 15 July 2016. The fields of view of the images at the top and bottom are 33’ x 22’ and 18’ x 12’ respectively.
