Messier 58 (North Up, East Left)
Messier 58, also known as NGC 4579, is a galaxy with classification SBb in the constellation of Virgo. It has a diameter of ~60,000 light-years and is a member of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster. Several other galaxies are in the same ield, as identified in the final, annotated image. The images comprise 5 x Luminance (300 seconds each), 0.101m f/5.4 Tele Vue refractor with FLI ML16200 camera at an altitude of 70 degrees on 18 April 2018. The fields of view of the first and third images are 132’ x 132’ (2.2 egrees square) and of the second image 42' x 42'.
