Messier 49 (North Up, East Left)
Messier 49, also known as NGC 4472 and Arp 134, is a galaxy of classification E2 in the constellation of Virgo. It is a member of the "Virgo Galaxy Cluster". Several other galaxies are visible in the field, as annotated on the hird image. The images comprise 6 x Luminance (300 seconds each), 0.101m f/5.4 Tele Vue refractor with FLI ML16200 camera at an altitude of 65 degrees on 17 January 2018. The fields of view of the images are 132’ x 132’ (2.2 degrees quare) and 42' x 42', respectively.
