Messier 45 (North Up, East Left)
Messier 45, also known as the "Pleiades", "Seven Sisters" and "Subaru Cluster" is an open cluster containing ~ 100 stars in the constellation of Taurus.  It has a diameter of ~12 light years, lies at a distance of ~380 light-years and is ~78 million years old. This image comprises 4 x Luminance (300 seconds each), 0.101m f/5.4 Tele Vue refractor with FLI ML16200 camera at an altitude of 80 degrees over two nights, 18 and 20 December 2016. The field of view of the image is 132’ x 132’ (2.2 degrees square).
