Messier 18 (North Up, East Left)
The first image comprises 10 x Luminance (15 seconds each) and 6 x Red, Green and Blue (20, 21 and 17 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 35 degrees on 8 June 2016. The field of view is 34’ x 23’. The second image comprises 5 x Luminance (300 seconds each), 0.101m f/5.4 Tele Vue refractor with FLI ML16200 camera at an altitude of 40 degrees on 8 September 2018. The field of view is 132’ x 132’ (2.2 degrees quare). Note that Messier 17 (also known as the "Omega Nebula") is due to the nothern edge of he image.
