Messier 13 (North Up, East Left)
Messier 13, also known as NGC 6205 and the "Hercules Globular Cluster", is a globular cluster containing ~500,000 stars in the constellation of Hercules.  It has a diameter of ~150 light- years, lies at a  distance of ~26,000 light-years and is ~14 billion years old. These images comprise 6 x Luminance (300 seconds each), 0.101m f/5.4 Tele Vue refractor with  FLI ML16200 camera at an altitude of 60 degrees on 18 September 2017. The fields of view of the images are 132’ x 132’ (2.2 degrees square) and 42' x 42', respectively.
