Messier 7 (North Up, East Left)
Messier 7, also known as NGC 6475 and "Ptolemy's Cluster", is an open cluster containing ~80 stars in the constellation of Scorpius.  It lies at a distance of ~800 light-years, has a diameter of ~20 light-years and is ~220 million years old. This image comprises 20 x Luminance (5 seconds each) and 5 x Red, Green and Blue (15, 16 and 13 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 25 degrees on 16 April 2018. The field of view is 34’ x 23’.
