Lupus 3 (North Up, East Left)
Lupus 3 is a dark cloud with a cluster of brilliant stars that have emerged from their stellar nursery in the constellation of Scorpius. It lies at a distance of ~600 light-years. This image comprises 6 x Luminance (300 seconds each), 0.101m f/5.4 Tele Vue refractor with FLI ML16200 camera at an altitude of 15 degrees on 30 August 2019. The field of view is 132’ x 132’ (2.2 degrees square).
