IC 417 (North Up, East Left)
IC 417 is a nebula in the constellation of Auriga.  It lies at a distance of ~7,500 light-years.  In the top image, NGC 1907 (also known as Herschel 325) is visible, towards the edge of the image.  To the east-southeast of IC 417 is NGC 1931, a smaller nebula that lies at a distance of ~7,000 light years. The images comprise 6 x Luminance (300 seconds each), 0.101m f/5.4 Tele Vue refractor with FLI ML16200 camera at an altitude of 80 degrees on 26 February 2017.  The fields of view of the top and bottom images are 132’ x 132’ (2.2 degrees square) and 42’ x 42’, respectively.
