Herschel 400 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 400, also known as NGC 1817, is an open cluster in the constellation of Taurus. It contains ~60 stars and lies at a distance of ~5,700 light-years.  It is ~790 million years old This image comprises 7 x Luminance (20 seconds each) and 4 x Red, Green and Blue (20, 20 and 16 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 75 degrees on 16 December 2015. The field of view of the image is 30’ x 20’.
