Herschel 383 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 383, also known as NGC 1342, is an open cluster in the constellation of Perseus. It contains ~40 stars and lies at a distance of ~1,800 light-years.  It is ~300 million years old. This image comprises 10 x Luminance (30 seconds each) and 5 x Red, Green and Blue (30, 30 and 24 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 70 degrees on 21 October 2015. The field of view of the image is 31’ x 22’.
