Herschel 377 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 377, also known as NGC 2186, is an open cluster containing ~30 stars in the constellation of Orion.  It lies at a distance of ~6,000 light-years. This image comprises 10 x Luminance (16 seconds each) and 5 x Red, Green and Blue (20, 20 and 16 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 60 degrees on 25 January 2017. The field of view of the image is 34’ x 23’.
