Herschel 374 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 374, also known as NGC 2024, the "Flame Nebula" and "Tank Trap Nebula" is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Orion.  It lies at a distance of ~1,500 light-years.  The star just outside the field of view to the south-west is magnitude 1.9 double star "Alnitak" (Zeta Orionis). This image comprises 10 x Luminance (120 seconds each) and 5 x Red, Green and Blue (120, 120 and 96 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 55 degrees over two nights, 21 November 2015 and 24 January 2017. The field of view of the image is 29’ x 19’.
