Herschel 372 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 372, also known as NGC 1999, is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Orion. The star at the centre, V380 Orionis, is a variable star with a range of 8.2-11.1 mag. This image comprises 10 x Luminance (60 seconds each) and 5 x Red, Green and Blue (60, 60 and 48 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 45 degrees on 12 December 2015. The field of view of the image is 29’ x 19’.
