Herschel 370 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 370, also known as NGC 1788, is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Orion. The dark nebula to the west-southwest is Lynds 1616. This image comprises 10 x Luminance (60 seconds each) and 10 x Red, Green and Blue (60, 61 and 50 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 50 degrees on 27 November 2016. The fields of view of the images at the top and bottom are 34’ x 23’ and 18’ x 12’ respectively.
