Herschel 128 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 128, also known as NGC 5746, is a galaxy of type SBb in the constellation of Virgo.  It has a diameter of ~178,000 light-years.  The bright star just outside the field of view in the wide field image is 3.7 mag HIP 72220. This image comprises 10 x Luminance (60 seconds each) and 5 x Red, Green and Blue (60, 66 and 54 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 50 degrees on 2 June 2016. The fields of view of the images at the top and bottom are 34’ x 23’ and 18’ x 12’ respectively.
