Herschel 104 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 104, also known as NGC 6451, is an open cluster containing ~80 stars in the constellation of Scorpius. It lies at a distance of ~1,900 light-years. This image comprises 15 x Luminance (40 seconds each) and 5 x Red, Green and Blue (45, 49 and 41 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 30 degrees on 11 May 2019. The field of iew is 32’ x 21’.
