Herschel 97 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 97, also known as NGC 6633, is an open cluster containing ~30 stars in the constellation of Ophiuchus. It lies at a distance of ~1,000 light-years and is ~660 million years old. This image comprises 15 x Luminance (12 seconds each) and 8 x Red, Green and Blue (20, 20 and 16 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 65 degrees on 9 May 2019. The field of view is 32’ x 21’.
