Herschel 80 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 80, also known as NGC 6229, is a globular cluster in the constellation of Hercules.  It lies at a distance of ~100,000 light-years.  This image comprises 10 x Luminance (60 seconds each) and 5 x Red, Green and Blue (60, 60 and 48 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 60 degrees on 4 June 2016. The fields of view of the images at the top and bottom are 33’ x 22’ and 18’ x 12’ respectively.
