Herschel 71 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 71, also known as NGC 6866, is an open cluster containing ~80 stars in the constellation of Cygnus.  It lies at a distance of ~3,900 light-years and is ~230 million years old. This image comprises 12 Luminance (60 seconds each) and 8 x Red, Green and Blue (60, 62 and 60 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 70 degrees on 23 August 2016. The field of view is 32’ x 21’.
