Herschel 57 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 57, also known as NGC 288, is a globular galaxy in the constellation of Sculptor.  It lies at a distance of ~27,000 light-years. This image comprises 9 x Luminance (60 seconds each) and 7 x Red, Green and Blue (60, 60 and 48 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 35 degrees on 28 August 2017. The fields of view of the two images are 32' by 21' and 18’ x 12’.
