Herschel 46 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 46, also known as NGC 7209, is an open cluster in the constellation of Lacerta. It contains ~25 stars and lies at a distance of approximately 2,900 light lears.  Its age is ~300 million years.  This image comprises 10 x Luminance (60 seconds each) and 10 x Red, Green and Blue (60, 60 and 48 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 60 degrees on 31 October 2016. The field of view is 32’ x 21’.
