Herschel 42 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 42, also known as NGC 7062, is an open cluster containing ~30 stars in the constellation of Cygnus. It lies at d distance of ~6,200 light-years and is ~100 million years old. This image comprises 13 x Luminance (30 seconds each) and 8 x Red, Green and Blue (30, 30 and 24 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 70 degrees on 29 September 2016. The field of view is 32’ x 21’.
