Herschel 23 and Caldwell 10 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 23, also known as NGC 663 and Caldwell 10, is an open cluster in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It contains about 80 stars and lies at a distance of approximately 7,000 light lears.  Its age is approximately 22 million years. This image comprises 15 x Luminance (10 seconds each) and 7 x Red, 8 x Green and 5 x Blue (10, 10 and 8 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 50 degrees on 27 September 2015. The field of view is 33’ x 23’.
