Herschel 18 and Caldwell 13 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 18, also known as NGC 457 and Caldwell 13, is an open cluster in the constellation of Cassiopeia containing ~80stars.  It lies at a distance of ~9,000 light-years and is ~25 million years old. This image comprises 10 x Luminance (10 seconds each) and 8 x Red, Green and Blue (15,  15 and 12 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of  55 degrees on 30 September 2016. The field of view is 32’ x 21’.
