Herschel 13 and Caldwell 18 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 13, also known as NGC 185 and Caldwell 18, is a galaxy of clasification E3 in the constellation of Cassiopeia.  It is a satellite galaxy of M31 and a member of our local group with a diameter of ~9,800 light-years. This image comprises 15 x Luminance (120 seconds each) and 8 x Red, Green and Blue (120, 120 and 96 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 65 degrees on 27 September 2015. The fields of view of the images at the top and bottom are 30’ x 19’ and 18’ x 11’ respectively.
