Herschel 12 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 12, also known as NGC 136, is an open cluster in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It contains about 20 stars and lies at a distance of approximately 13,300 light lears. This image comprises 15 x Luminance (40 seconds each) and 7 x Red, Green and Blue (40, 40 and 32 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 55 degrees on 23 September 2015. The field of view is 33’ x 22’.
