Herschel 6 and Caldwell 55 (North Up, East Left)
Herschel 6, also known as NGC 7009, Caldwell 55 and the “Saturn Nebula”, is a planetary nebulae in the constellation of Aquarius.  It leis at a distance of ~2,900 light-years. This image comprises 15 x Luminance (30 seconds each) and 10 x Red, Green and Blue (30, 30 and 24 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 45 degrees on 8 September 2016. The fields of view of the images at the top and bottom are 29’ x 19’ and 18’ x 12’ respectively.
