Caldwell 5 (North Up, East Left)
Caldwell 5, also known as IC 342, is a galaxy of classification SBc in the constellation of Camelopardalis.  It lies at a distance of ~8,200 light-years and is ~4 billion years old. This image comprises 12 x Luminance (120 seconds each) and 6 x Red, Green and Blue (120, 122 and 100 seconds each), 0.5m f/2.9 ASA Astrograph with FLI ML3200 camera at an altitude of 50 degrees on 7 October 2017. The ield of view is 34' x 23'.
