The PCCP object M503ujx has been designated as 2015 G2. The comet was reported by Denis Denisenko in R-band images taken by P. Balanutsa et al. with the MASTER (Mobile Astronomical System of the Telescope-Robots) 0.4-m f/2.5 reflector at the South African Astronomical Observatory on 2015 April  7.  Rob Kaufman from Australia noted the comet in pre-discovery images taken on March 30.80.  It was at perihelion at 0.8 au in May when it brightened to around 6th magnitude.
