Hills Observatory: 1 January 2013 to 28 December 2020
The comet was discovered at 19th magnitude by Steve Larson on Catalina Sky Survey images taken with the 0.68-m Schmidt telescope on 10 January 2011. Confirming images were taken with the Mt. Lemmon 1.5-m reflector and also following posting on the NEOCP. Images of the comet have been found in Spacewatch images from 1995 and 2004 and NEAT images from 2002.
