Welcome to Hills-Observatory.org All of the observations reported on this website since 11 August 2015 were made in La Palma, Spain with the following equipment: ScopeDome dome 10 Micron GM 4000 HPS mount ASA 0.5m Astrograph operating at f/2.9, FLI camera with ML3200 chip and FLI filter wheel with 18 different filters Tele-Vue 0.1m refractor and FLI camera with ML16200 chip The observations reported on this website prior to 11 August 2015 were made in Moorook, Australia with the following equipment: RC Optical Systems (RCOS) 0.4m (16 inch) f/9 Carbon Truss Telescope Paramount ME mount SBIG STL-1001E CCD camera with LRGB and V filters To control the system I use ACP Observatory Control Software with ACP Scheduler, Maxim DL and Focusmax (see the following links): http://acp.dc3.com/index2.html http://www.cyanogen.com/maxim_main.php http://www.ccdware.com/products/focusmax/ All images are captured and reduced using bias, dark and flat frames. Thie image scale is 0.98 arc seconds per pixel in the ASA system, 2.27 arc seconds per pixel in the Tele-Vue system and 1.35 arc seconds per pixel in the RCOS system.
